The Watkins Project was a full kitchen and living room renovation focused on improving how the home actually functions day to day while maintaining a timeless, layered aesthetic. The kitchen was extended, the island reoriented, and a poorly placed fireplace removed to create better circulation, sightlines, and gathering space. Creamy white cabinetry, a neutral palette, and integrated details — including quartz accents carried onto the floating shelves and range hood, along with a panel-ready bar fridge — create a cohesive, quietly refined kitchen renovation.
In the living room, the original blonde oak flooring was preserved and became the foundation for the design direction. Its warmth is echoed through textiles and artwork, balanced with deeper plum and olive tones to add contrast without heaviness. The result is a contemporary yet enduring kitchen and living space renovation that respects what existed while elevating how the home is experienced.
